General Description

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is a surgical specialty that diagnoses and treats diseases of the female reproductive system, monitors all stages of pregnancy, and ensures safe delivery.

The Gynecology and Obstetrics Unit at our hospital has a strong academic and clinical staff that aims to protect women's health at every stage of life and provides services in line with modern technology, scientific approach and ethical values.

Services Provided

• Pregnancy follow-up and prenatal and postnatal care

• Normal birth and cesarean operations

• Management of high-risk pregnancies (preeclampsia, diabetes, risk of premature birth, etc.)

• Diagnosis and treatment of female reproductive system diseases (fibroids, cysts, endometriosis, etc.)

• Gynecological cancer screenings (uterus, cervix, ovary)

• Laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries

• Menstrual irregularities, menopause, infertility evaluations

• Birth control methods and counseling

• Adolescent girls' health and adolescent gynecology

Services are provided with a multidisciplinary approach with coordination of the obstetrics and gynecology clinic, delivery room, ward and operating room.
