The Department of Neonatology is a pediatric specialty that deals with the health monitoring, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of babies in the first 28 days after birth.
The Pediatric Neonatology Department at our hospital monitors healthy newborns and also cares for babies born prematurely, with low birth weight, those who have experienced birth trauma, or those with congenital anomalies.
Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, with its state-of-the-art infrastructure and experienced healthcare staff, offers 24-hour uninterrupted service to help babies have a strong start in life.
Premature baby care
Respiratory distress, birth trauma, congenital cardiovascular disorders
Monitoring and treatment of congenital infections
Treatment of neonatal jaundice (phototherapy)
Management of metabolic problems such as meconium aspiration syndrome and hypoglycemia

During intensive care services, the baby's clinical course is regularly monitored, and collaboration with other disciplines (cardiology, neurology, infectious diseases, etc.) is carried out when necessary.
