Wilson's disease is an inherited disease characterized by copper accumulation in the liver and brain as a result of copper metabolism disorders.

ATP7B gene mutation.

Diagnosis

Ceruloplasmin, urine copper, liver biopsy.

Treatment

Penicillamine, zinc, liver transplantation.
