Definition
Ulnar tunnel syndrome is a neuropathy that develops as a result of compression of the ulnar nerve at the elbow or wrist level.
Symptoms
- Numbness in the 4th and 5th fingers
- Weakness in the hand
- Decreased fine motor skills
- Pain on the inner side of the elbow
Reasons
Repetitive elbow flexion, trauma.
Diagnosis
EMG, physical examination.
Treatment
Elbow protector, surgical.
