Definition

Turner syndrome is a chromosomal disorder characterized by short stature, ovarian failure, and various somatic anomalies resulting from the complete or partial loss of an X chromosome.

  • Ovarian failure (infertility)

45,X karyotype or mosaicism.

Diagnosis

Karyotype analysis.

Treatment

Growth hormone, estrogen replacement therapy, treatment of associated anomalies.
