Chronic pyelonephritis is chronic inflammation of the kidney due to recurrent infections.

Symptoms

Recurrent infections, vesicoureteral reflux.

Diagnosis

Urine culture, ultrasound, DMSA scintigraphy.

Treatment

Antibiotics treat the underlying cause.
