Addison's disease is a disease characterized by a deficiency of cortisol and aldosterone hormones resulting from inadequate function of the adrenal glands.

Autoimmune adrenalitis, tuberculosis, adrenal hemorrhage.
Diagnosis
Low cortisol in the blood, high ACTH, ACTH stimulation test.
Treatment
Cortisol and mineralocorticoid replacement therapy.
