An event held at our hospital as part of Medical Secretaries Day was well-attended. The program, designed to recognize the efforts of our medical secretaries, who shoulder significant responsibilities in every aspect of healthcare, was attended by Hospital Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Sefa RESİM, Deputy Chief Physicians Prof. Dr. Metin KILINÇ, Prof. Dr. Neslihan KURTUL, Prof. Dr. Selma ATEŞ, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kutlu DEMİRKOL, and Head Nurse Serap KOCA.
Deputy Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Metin KILINÇ delivered the opening speech. He highlighted the crucial role of medical secretaries in patient admissions, data management, communication flow, and clinical coordination, and thanked all secretaries for their dedicated work.
As part of the program, a slideshow and video presentation specifically designed for medical secretaries were presented. The presentation featured images from the units where medical secretaries work, their daily workflows, and their contributions within the organization. Both the slides and video content were watched with interest by attendees, adding a meaningful atmosphere to the event.
The event continued with the presentation of plaques to the medical secretaries. The program concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony commemorating the day and commemorative photos taken with the participants.
