Within the scope of TUBİM activities carried out in our hospital with the approval of Kahramanmaraş Governorship and under the coordination of Provincial Police Department and Narcotics Crimes Presidency, the “Narco Guide Training” covering academic and administrative staff was successfully completed.
Narco Guide Trainer Cihangir GİDER, who provided the training, provided healthcare professionals with comprehensive information on substance abuse, risk factors, protection methods, and awareness-raising processes. The training, held between November 17–25, 2025, attracted significant interest from academic staff, faculty members, doctors, nurses, health technicians, technicians, and personnel working in secretarial and support services units.
Following the completion of the training program, plaques and certificates of appreciation were presented to Cihangir GİDER and the Anti-Narcotics Crimes Team for their contributions to our hospital. The ceremony reiterated the importance of interagency collaboration.
Deputy Chief Physicians Prof. Dr. Metin KILINÇ, Prof. Dr. Neslihan KURTUL, Prof. Dr. Abdullah SÖKMEN, and Head Nurse Serap KOCA attended the plaque presentation. Participants expressed the importance of this training, which raises awareness in the fight against addiction, for healthcare professionals and thanked the teams from the Narcotics Crimes Branch.
