The awareness meeting, held at our hospital on November 17th, World Prematurity Day, was held in the Conference Hall of KSÜ Health Practice and Research Hospital. The event, which aimed to draw attention to the struggle for life faced by premature babies, was well-attended.
Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Sefa RESİM, Deputy Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Neslihan KURTUL and Deputy Chief Physician Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kutlu DEMİRKOL attended and supported the program.
The event began at 1:30 p.m. with the National Anthem and a moment of silence. Following the opening remarks, a slideshow detailing the developmental process of premature babies and a musical concert prepared to raise awareness were presented.
As part of the program, certificates of appreciation were presented to numerous units and employees for their valuable contributions to the newborn program. This presentation was crucial for increasing the visibility and motivation of the teams dedicated to newborn care.
The cocktail reception held at 14:30 provided an opportunity for participants to come together and evaluate awareness-raising activities for premature babies and their families. Our hospital emphasized that such events will continue to draw attention to the strong fight for life of premature babies and to raise public awareness.
