A meaningful program was organized in our hospital on the occasion of Children with Leukemia Week, November 2-8, by the team of the Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at KSÜ Health Practice and Research Hospital, with the contributions of Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality, within the scope of education management and social responsibility activities.
The event was attended by the Head of the Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, Prof. Dr. Can Acıpayam, department staff, students, hospital staff, and families of children with leukemia.
The program included various activities to boost the morale of children with leukemia, as well as informative presentations and social events to raise awareness. Participants emphasized the importance of early diagnosis, treatment, and social support in the fight against leukemia.
At the end of the event, various gifts were distributed to the children and the day ended with colorful scenes.
