The graduation and oath ceremony for the 2025-2026 academic year of Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University (KSÜ) Faculty of Medicine was held at the KSÜ Yunus Emre Congress and Culture Center.
The ceremony was attended by KSÜ Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Taner Okumuş, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ünsal and Prof. Dr. Ejder Berk, KSÜ General Secretary Fatih Tiyek, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Hafize Öksüz, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Prof. Dr. Hakan Kamalak, Chief Physician of KSÜ Health Practice and Research Hospital Prof. Dr. Selçuk Nazik, Deputy Chief Physicians Prof. Dr. Tuba Tülay Koca and Dr. Muhammed Çiftçioğlu, academics, administrative staff, students and their families.
The program, which began with a moment of silence and the recitation of the National Anthem, included a speech by Dr. Zeynep Yılmaz Kaplan, the top student of the Faculty of Medicine, on behalf of the graduates. In her speech, Kaplan thanked the academics and families who supported them throughout their medical education.
Following the speech by the top student of the semester, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Hafize Öksüz, and the Rector of KSÜ, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Taner Okumuş, addressed the participants.
Following the speeches, a plaque was affixed to the commemorative tree. Afterwards, the graduating students were presented with their diplomas and certificates of achievement.
At the end of the ceremony, the young doctors took the Hippocratic Oath, taking their first steps into their professional lives. The ceremony concluded with the sharing of graduation joy with families and academics.
