Our hospital organized training on Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF).

As part of in-service training activities, a training session on "Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF)" was conducted for healthcare professionals at Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University (KSÜ) Health Practice and Research Hospital.

The training, given by Dr. Evrim Gülderen Kuşcu, a faculty member of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology at KSÜ Faculty of Medicine, was held on June 17, 2026, in the Hospital Conference Hall. Physicians, nurses, midwives, health officers, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), and care and cleaning staff participated in the training.

The training provided participants with up-to-date information on the transmission routes, prevention methods, early diagnosis, and treatment processes of Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever, a disease whose incidence increases especially during the summer months. In addition, the procedures that healthcare professionals should follow in case of exposure to the disease were discussed.

The training program, during which participants' questions were answered and information was shared, was successfully completed.

It was stated that the trainings organized by the Education Coordination Office of KSÜ Health Practice and Research Hospital will continue with the aim of improving the quality of healthcare services and supporting the professional development of employees.
