Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University Health Practice and Research Hospital organized a program in its conference hall to draw attention to rare diseases and raise awareness in this field.
The program was attended by KSÜ Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Taner Okumuş, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ejder Berk, KSÜ Faculty of Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Hafize Öksüz, Deputy Chief Physicians Prof. Dr. Metin Kılınç and Prof. Dr. Abdullah Sökmen, Selma Ateş, as well as academics, doctors, and students.
The program covered the diagnosis and treatment processes of rare diseases, the importance of early diagnosis, and the impact of a multidisciplinary approach on patients' quality of life. The event, which featured contributions from experts in the field, emphasized the importance of increasing the knowledge and awareness of healthcare professionals in this area.
